Ran across this great quote from Martin Luther again this morning and wanted to share it as a means of encouragement.
“This life, therefore, is not righteousness but growth in (an alien) righteousness, not health but healing, not being but becoming, not rest but exercise. We are not yet what we shall be, but we are growing toward it; the process is not yet finished but it is going on; this is not the end but it is the road; all does not yet gleam in glory but all is being purified.” Martin Luther
Our enemy loves to beat us up with feelings of failure and inadequacies due to our sin…trying to convince us that everyone else has it together, but we don’t. Our Father is at work sanctifying us by His grace, not our willpower.
