Men’s Retreat, Frisco Style

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of leading a men’s retreat for Christ Community Church of Frisco in Frisco, TX. My college friend Jamie Peterson planted this PCA church in the rapidly growing community of Frisco, just north of Dallas. The retreat was held on a ranch almost two hours from Dallas on an amazing ranch owned by one of the guys in the church. Approaching the ranch, we drove past an amazing windmill farm just outside of Muenster, Texas. It was surreal to see that many of these HUGE windmills on the horizon at once. I snapped a few pictures that you can see in the slideshow below.

Sunday morning I preached a sermon from Luke 15 entitled “The Journey Home” and met more of the amazing folks that make up Christ Community Church.
